Skincredible Spinach Smoothie Recipe

At R Devine Skin Care, I am always talking about the importance of both internal care and external care for your skin health.  While we specialize in external care, I reached out to my friend Orly Wachter, the Skincare Dietician, and asked her if she could share her favourite skin-friendly smoothie recipe that you can enjoy all year round.

“My Skincredible Spinach Smoothie recipe is a great one for both summer and winter. In the summer I add ice to the recipe and in the winter I add extra ginger for the warming effect it has.” – Orly Wachter, The Skincare Dietician

Here’s the recipe:
1/2 cup coconut water (plain water is fine too)
1 medium apple (or pear)
1 cup spinach (or kale)
1/4 lemon (peeled and seeded)
1 cm. chunk ginger (peeled)
1 date (pitted)
1/2 tbsp hemp hearts
Blend and enjoy!
